Welcome back Henderson Mill Families! Summer is almost over, and it’s time to think about starting school.
Don’t wait for Open House! Two Great Ways to SAVE TIME and ENERGY on August 6th:
1. Confirm Your Residency – Come by the school any time from 7AM - 4 PM Monday through Thursday July 14-July 31 to show your current proof of residency. If you own or lease your home, please bring with you a current (July or August) utility bill, mortgage statement, or a deed or current lease. If you are living with others, please stop by the school and pick up a residency affidavit and additional instructions.
2. Register early – Why wait in line for a computer on Open House? You can register during the next two weeks with PTA online/PayPal. An E-blast will be coming soon with the details, or you can check the PTA website for the registration process: http://www.hendersonmillpta.org/.
The School Supply List by grade is available at school or on the PTA website.

First Day of School is August 11th
Title I Workshop – The Role of the Parent in the School is August 27th 10:30-11:30 or 11:30-12:30
Fall Dance Sponsored by 5th grade – September 5th at 6:00 PM
Curriculum Night – September 9th – 6:00 PM – (Title I Budget Meeting at 5:30 PM or on 9/10 at 7:45 AM)
Book Fair Fun Friday Night is September 19th at 6:00 p.m.
