Summer Reading

Start your summer reading at the breakfast table! You can read the cereal box or the comics in the newspaper. Keep a favorite paperback book handy to pick up and read after going to the pool or playing outside. Read a few minutes several times throughout the day, or read a lot at one time. It is best to try to read at least 30-40 minutes a day to feed your brain. Find your best time(s) and read, read, read!

You can go to the Northlake, or your nearest library for a great selection of books, magazines, DVDs, books-on-tape, etc. You may keep books for three weeks and movies for one week. The best part is that it is free! Your local public library also has many fun activities for you as part of their Summer Reading Program.
